Welcome to WaterBabies Swim School!
Established 20 years, new salt water/ozone pool Proven developmental curriculum
Proven developmental curriculum Warm 90° water, small classes, happy kids!

Waterbabies Swim School began over twenty years ago in a backyard pool in Capistrano Beach. The intimate backyard environment was comfortable for both parents and their children and worked beautifully.  In keeping with that tradition, Waterbabies has now built its new home pool in the beautiful backyard of an original Ole Hanson cottage in downtown San Clemente. We offer small, semi- private classes, starting our babies at 5 months of age and continuing to completion with advanced stroke refinement. Our new pool is saltwater, with an Ozone system to instantly kill bacteria. Our pool is heated year-round to a wonderful 90°.

We offer small, semi-private classes with individual attention in a positive learning environment filled with lots of praise and love. We also include children with disabilities and extend a special invitation to autistic children.

General Guidelines
Please arrive on time, and wait until your instructor calls your class into the water. Young swimmers must wear a tight elastic swim diapers.  All long hair must be off the face and tied back; no bobby pins please. No food or gum in pool area. Remember, classes are taught in continuous progression. The more sessions a child takes, the greater the retention, the safer the swimmer. Please confirm all driving directions and class times before the first day of class. Please respect the teaching area and its serene environment. Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated.
